CoValence® is Seeing Green
Our dynamic ‘Green Group’ has implemented companywide initiatives such as… supporting Organic Agriculture based raw materials, utilizing recycled shipping and administrative supplies, installing a solar product to help reduce energy usage and educating our employees on ways to live greener lives (to name a few). We feel there is nothing better than to share information that will help our planet, therefore our Green Group will periodically post green living ideas and sources on our CoValence® Labs Blog.
The company culture at CoValence® is anchored by the simple act of caring for one another. The compassion we have for giving and caring resonates in the dedication and care we put into every product and facet of our business.
Caring Organizations
We have donated and recommend the following organizations as admirable proponents of educating and helping women:
Caring Ambassadors
The following individuals are CoValence® Caring Ambassadors. These staff members promote caring by giving of their time and resources to help others.
Michelle (Filling Department) — Michelle single handily started a stuffed-animal toy drive for rescue workers in Missouri/Arkansas. The rescue workers give the stuffed-animals to children who are involved in a tragic event. The word of Michelle’s thoughtfulness spread quickly and Michelle now donates to several rescue departments in the Midwest. Michelle also organizes our CoValence® Angel Tree each year by picking up the ‘angels’ for our company tree and then distributing the gifts. Michelle also donates her hair to Locks of Love and she was given CoValence®’s first Humanitarian Award in 2008!
Sabrina (Filling Department) — Sabrina volunteers each year with The Special Olympics. Sabrina’s gifts include teaching and playing basketball with the Special Olympians. Her joyful heart is spread among all of her players and CoValence®.
Kelly (Manufacturing Department) — Kelly donates her hair to Locks of Love every two years. It is wonderful to see her caring spirit as she knows that her beautiful red hair will make someone very happy.
Melinda (Marketing Department) — Melinda volunteers each year at a Car Care Clinic in Tempe Arizona. The Car Care Clinic was created to fix and service cars owned by single moms, at no charge. Melinda is not mechanically inclined, but she does play with the children while their moms’ cars are being fixed.
