The Perfect Package

From the CoValence Laboratories Inventory Department
As a member of the warehouse receiving team, I see all types of client packaging on a daily basis. We store all packaging to include bottles, jars, pumps, caps, labels, tubes, retail boxes, and inserts for our clients on site in our warehouse. While receiving in new stock, I oftentimes find myself speculating as to why clients picked their packaging.
Were they going for the green look with the simple, matte, natural designs and colors?
Will they be selling their product at high end stores utilizing the shiny pumps and retail boxes?
Was this the packaging our client dreamed about when creating his finished good?
Was this the look and the idea he had in mind to portray to the end consumer?
These are things I wonder. For us in the warehouse though, our favorite packaging and labels are the simple trouble-free variety that have consistent, smooth transitions time and again through manufacturing, filling, and shipping. Of course, we also enjoy having plenty of client packaging on hand when called for! To see a few interesting tips on how to pick packaging for a new product, click here.

- Comprehensive client inventory reports can be sent upon request to all clients so that they know which packaging items we have stored here for them at any point in time.
- When ordering packaging, order 10% more than needed to allow for scrap.
